Happy Father's Day!

It just so happened that Dan's parents came to town this past weekend, so we were able to celebrate with all of the fathers - Dan, his dad and my dad. We spent Friday and Saturday with Dan's parents at their campsite on Mission Bay, and on Sunday we had dinner with my mom and dad. Here are some pictures:

I can touch the floor!

Kendall reached a big milestone this week - she can now touch the floor when in her jumperoo, and we've been able to remove the pillow from underneath her feet!

In other news, Lani is over being ogled like a young woman walking down Avenida Revolucion in Tijuana.

MMMMMMM...green beans!

Not so sure about the green beans.

We've been trying solids for a few weeks now, and she's liking the food more and more. Carrots are the big winner so far, but she also seems to like oatmeal with apricots mixed in and avocados. The jury is still out on sweet potatoes and green beans, but we're trying these again soon. Bananas have received a big thumbs down, which is surprising.

I'm Five Months Old!!

I know I say it every month, but I really can't believe how fast time is flying by. Kendall turned five months old on Sunday, and continues to grow and change. Her hair is really starting to come back in. She babbles constantly, sometimes carrying on continuous conversations for half an hour or more. She's also reaching for just about anything, tries to put everything in her mouth, and loves being tickled. She laughs and laughs and laughs. I think we finally have the allergies and reflux figured out as she's now on a formula that she seems to like, and is barely spitting up at all. Now if we could only get the insurance company to work with us and pay for it! I'm still fighting...

Kendall also had her first weekend with Gram and Dude this past weekend while mom headed to the Bay Area for an engagement party (congrats Carla and Tyler!!) and dad worked. She did really well and I think my mom and dad loved being able to spend all of that time with her.

Here is a look back at the past month...
