Splish Splash

Kendall received a new water/sand table from Gram and Dude for her birthday, and today was the perfect day to enjoy it! Ok, ok, so technically it's currently only a water table. She doesn't seem to mind though! With temps in the upper 70's, we were both happy to get outside and play in the water a bit.

I'm glad that I brought the camera out with us because I was able to get some cute shots of her in an outfit that she may never wear again. What was I thinking buying white pants for a 15 month old??

Drunken Bachelorettes and the Easter Bunny

What a weekend!!

I left early Friday to celebrate Carla's last days as a bachelorette in Palm Springs! The weekend was a blast and I loved the time with my Davis girls. I don't get to see them often enough, and we have such great times when we get together. The time spent together always goes too quickly as we spend our time talking about hilarious moments in college and the years since. Most of us have been friends for over 15 years! I love that we have these chances to make new memories together, and I love hearing about everyone's lives and families. I quickly realize how much I miss them when it's time to leave.

While mom was away enjoying the fun and sun, Dan was on dad duty. He and Kendall spent Saturday celebrating Reese's first birthday at her party. I'm a bit sad that I missed the event as it looked like they had a great time, and it's always fun to see how excited Kendall is to do something new.

It's hard to believe, but so apparent from the photos, that Kendall is now a full blown toddler:

Although I know that the day will come, it's hard to believe that one day Kendall will be celebrating at a bachelorette party with her friends. But, it's comforting to know that I'll be able to call any of my old friends to commiserate over some cocktails. I don't know who will be getting into more trouble....
